Both on birth anniversary and death anniversary, great Rafi Sahab is remembered, and he sang landmark songs between 1971 to 1975.

Here are some of the landmark songs Rafisahab sang between 1971 to 1975.

In 1971, Rafi Sahab sang landmark songs for Rajender Kumar Sahab film Aap Aye Bahar Aye. He sang “mujhe teri muhabbat ka sahara”, “ pooch jo koi mujhse”, “aap aye bahaar aye”, composed by Laxmikant Pyarelalji all became super hit.

In 1971 Rafi Sahab sang landmark songs for Shammi Kapoorji film Andaaz. He sang “hai na bolo bolo”, “remamma remamma re”, “dil use do jo jaan de de” composed by Shankar Jaikishanji all became super hit.

In 1971, Rafi Sahab song “kuch keheta yeh sawan” in Dharmenderji  film Mera Gaon Mera Desh composed by Laxmikant Pyarellalji became big hit.

In 1971, Rafi Sahab song “tubhi aaja ki ay gayi”  in Raj Kumarji  film Maryada composed by Kalyanji Anandji became a big hit.

In 1971, Rafi Sahab song “chirag kis ke ghar ka” in Jeetenderji film Ek Nari Ek Brahmachari composed by Shankar Jaikishanji became super hit.

In 1974, Rafi Sahab song “teri galiyon me na rakhenge kadam” in Anil Dhawanji film Hawas composed by Usha Khannaji became super hit.

In 1974, Rafi Sahab song “phir wohi wohi baat” in Sanjeev Kumarji film Naya Din Nayi Raat composed by Laxmikant Pyarelalji became super hit.

In 1975, Rafi Sahab song “jat yamla pagla diwana” in Dharmenderji film Pratigya composed by Laxmikant Pyarelalji became super hit.

In 1975, Rafi Sahab song “ chari re chari kaise gale me pari” in Sanjeev Kumarji film Mausam composed by Madanmohanji became  super hit.

In 1975, Rafi Sahab song “ek mahal ho sapno ka” in Dharmenderji film Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, composed by Raviji became superhit.

The list goes on. In the later years Rafi Sahab sang landmark songs Rishi Kapoorji films like Laila Majnu, Amar Akbar Anthony to mention a few.

So this shows Rafi Sahab songs were significant in the mid 1970s as well. The songs require restoration and preservation.

    Some of the songs that I love from this time

    “Kya Hua Tera Wada” from the movie “Hum Kisise Kum Naheen” (1977) – A romantic song composed by R.D. Burman and written by Majrooh Sultanpuri, it remains a classic even today.

    “Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko” from the movie “Yaadon Ki Baarat” (1973) – Another popular romantic song composed by R.D. Burman and written by Majrooh Sultanpuri.

    “Aaj Mausam Bada Beimaan Hai” from the movie “Loafer” (1973) – This catchy song composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal and written by Anand Bakshi is still popular today.

    “Tere Mere Sapne Ab Ek Rang Hai” from the movie “Guide” (1972) – A soulful song composed by S.D. Burman and written by Shailendra, it is a masterpiece of Indian film music.

    “Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho” from the movie “Hanste Zakhm” (1973) – This beautiful song composed by Madan Mohan and written by Kaifi Azmi is a tribute to the power of love.

    “Babul Ki Duayen Leti Ja” from the movie “Neel Kamal” (1975) – A touching song composed by Ravi and written by Sahir Ludhianvi, it remains a favorite at Indian weddings.

    “Yeh Duniya Yeh Mehfil” from the movie “Heer Ranjha” (1970) – A timeless classic composed by Madan Mohan and written by Kaifi Azmi.
