Rafi Ki Yadein proceeds to go to ICBF

The proceeds from the music night, on August 31, will go to the humanitarian activities of Indian Cultural Benevolent Fund (ICBF). The show, named “Doha Bank Rafi Ki Yadein 2006″, is organised by Indian music group ‘Doha Waves’ with the cooperation of ICBF. Doha Bank is the main sponsor, said the organising committee chairman Mohamed Thoyyib. The three-hour show was held at the ICC.
The music night brought together a galaxy of performers from the Indian expatriate community. Besides Thoyyib, Saleem Pavaratty, Abdul Khair, Imtiaz, Rajeev Saxena, Aishwarya Murali, Parvati Chandran and Nadeer Abdul Salam. A live orchestra backed up the performers.
