hey..rafi sahab…wot to say abt the god hof singing…..he was only the one and will be only the one…if u knw anythng abt concert of rafi sahab in december dis year in whch sonu nigam is gonna perform rafi plsdo let me knw…coz i really consider rafi sahab and sonu as my gods in singing….so pls let the devotee..meet and hear his gods.plsssss i m w8in for ur rep

im safeena, ahamedbhai’s daughter from calicut and all i’d like to say is that its commendable how all lovers of true music have come together in one place like this and i thank you for helping my dad contribute a bit towards this. Sir Binus2000,
I agree with u that every one has his or her favourites but I don’t understant how one can say that KK is better singer than Mohd Rafi.I listen to KK most songs to see why few people say that but there is no answer.Sir when I like some one it not mean that he or she is the best Sun is Sun and Moon is moon

Cannot agree with your words: if you say music lovers who
do not agree with your viewpoint as mentally sick then they
could also term you as the same….
Every one has his/her favourites among the billions of people
on the planet….

Pl. enjoy your music….. use good words and remember - this
forums sanctity has to be maintained.

Composer chitragupt recorded some jewels in rafi saabs vocals
but the songs were not released.ANAND MILIND sons of the
composer is now releasing these gems - which were lying in a
spool, fungus infested at few places.
Narayani creations have enhanced the songs and now they
are in the process of releasing the RAFI gems.
Mohd Rafi - once again is the theme. Music lovers can expect
a harvest of six songs from the master of playback singing -
once more. As I said for the legend….

I AM UNFORTUNATE, BECAUSE I HAD PLANNED TO MEET LAXMIKANTJI OF HIT L-P JODI AS I HAD READ THAT HE WAS TOWARDS THE END OF HIS LIFE BUT THEN I COULD NOT MAKE IT BECAUSE OF SOME WORK AND TWO DAYS LATER I READ IN THE NEWSPAPER THAT HE HAD LEFT THE WORLD.

LAXMIJI HAD GREAT RESPECT FOR RAFISHAHAB AND HE ALWAYS SPOKE OF RAFI SAHAB VERY RESPECTFULLY.

THE GREATNESS OF RAFI SAHAB WAS NOT ONLY IN HIS ART OF PLAYBACK SINGING BUT ALSO HIS NATURE.

THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED WITH HIM ALAWAYS SAID THAT HE WAS THE MOST GENTLEMAN, DOWN TO EARTH PERSON IN THE INDUSTRY. RAFISAHAB WAS A VERY RELIGIOUS PERSON.

HE SANG FOR SO MANY PRODUCERS WHO DID NOT EVEN PAY HIM.
SOME PROBABLY TOOK UNDUE ADVANTAGE OF HIS GOOD NATURE AND SOME WERE NOT IN A FINANCIAL POSITION TO PAY HIM BUT HE STILL SUNG FOR THEIR FILMS.

THAT WAS THE GREATNESS OF RAFISAHAB.
