Also, rafi saab was not trained under bade ghulam ali khan; he received his formal training from abdul waheed khan, "chhote" ghulam ali khan and jeewanlal mattoo of the kirana gharana. rafi saab was not born in lahore but in a village close to it. "... his best was not reserved for the 60s" can be challenged, given that Baiju Bawra, Pyaasa and Kagaz ke Phool were all released in the 50s.
