Some things do get lost in translation and this is why I've been trying to learn to read & write Hindi as of late. It's a beautiful language that should be respected & preserved. I say the same for Urdu. It kills me to see Indian channels and celebrated people like Amitabh Bachchan insist on speaking in English with his lousy accent when instead he could speak like a God in his original language.
