Couple of days back an article was posted here about mention of Rafi Sahab in the movie home delivery. After couple of followups on that thread by various members of HF, Azgar mentioned about another recent movie where the comedian, Asrani is in conversation with the star Salman Khan in the movie Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega.

Asrani is a CEO of a music company, he is in conversation with Salman Khan.

Asrani: Udit narayan ko kisne banaya?
Salman: Kisne?
Asrani: Meine
Asrani: Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet, Kumar Sanu ko kisne banaya?
Salman: Kisne?
Asrani: Meine
Asrani: Mohammed Rafi ko kisne banaya?
Salman: Unko bhi aapne banaya?
Asrani: Nahi nahi, unhone mujhe banaya.

Its nice to see even the current generation dialogue writers have utmost respect to impeccable Rafi Sahab.

This post made me wonder if there was any song of Rafi Sahab on Asrani. Here is the list of movies that I noted down, which had Rafi Sahab’s vocals and Asrani acting in it.

Iqbal@HF helped me in finding a song which was picturized on Asrani with Rafi’s vocals. And the song is ofcourse a comedy number. It’s Sansaar Ko Sudharenge, Auron Ke Bol Utaarenge, Par Ham Nahin Sudhrenge.
