Srikhanth Narayan is undoubtedly the closest voice to Mohammed Rafi. Had the previleage to listen to the talented singer at two concerts held in vile parle by music band Musicolor. The first show featured songs of Guru Dutt while the second was a tribute to Madan Mohan. Both the programmes were well attended and the songs selection was fabulous. Srikhant rendered the two cult classic of Rafisaab Bichde sabi bari bari and Yeh mehlon yeh takto flawlessly. I have never seen any singer singing these songs live on stage with such precision. Hats off to the guy. Incidentally rafisaab’s daughter Nasreen along with her husband and daughter graced the show and showered praises on Srikhant Narayan.
