I personally like the way kishore sung,like with open heart n wide sound quality, but if we come to comparison between Kishore and Rafi sab,then i guess it would be fair. There is no comparison popssible at all. Rafi sab’s melodious n mellow voice has no match. No comparison!!! He was a king n used to sing as if water is moving calmly.One thing i would like to share here. One of my friend met with amit kumar,kishore’s son. My friend doesnt like rafi sab so he said something which showed that he is trying to disgrace rafi sab.the host secretly grabbed my friend’s arm n said in his ear that dont say these words again infront of amit as Amit call Rafi sa as Chahcha(uncle) n he like his father kishore give respect To Rafi sab. I think this is tha best example to show what gratitude was being given tonthe legend like Rafi sab. Thismalso shows the greatness of Kishore n his family that inspite of being competetors, used be friends n respect eachother.

I think after 1977′s hit song “Kia hua tera wada” RD Burman & Kishore’s honemoon period just ended. Rd Burman returned back to Rafi ,like many other composers, & used his magic voice till Rafi’s death 31th july 1980. It is fact that Rafi gave mega hit songs during his last three years & he was the first choice of music directors including RD Burman. ok
