Thanks Zorawar Ji for giving the details of the function at BVB New Delhi and how their principal Mr. Negi spoke on the occasion. I would request all rafians through these columns to also be visiting http://www.rafi.co.in of Mr. Zareef Ahmed and see for themselves the new additions that are being incorporated there almost every day. There are columns where rafians can air their views on ‘why bharat ratna to rafi sahab’, etc. and let each of us also post our views there too. as far as i am concerned, all fora connected to rafi sahab should be fully and most extensively utilised by each one of us to air our views, post articles and photographs and also news – well everything connected to the name of mohammed rafi sahab. asmurty2@rediffmail.com

    Dear Mr. Murty,

Thanks for the above information. Fortunately, I could get Zareef’s number yesterday. I spoke to him and he was present during the event today in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
The event went very well and was praised by the Principal, Vice Principal and other faculty members. Principal Sir, Mr. G.S.Negi spoke a very good words and high words about Rafi Sahab and also he, in his words, resembled his institution with the our one man institution Rafi Sahab.
We will remain grateful to Shri Negi Ji for giving us such an opportunity to organize an event which was first of its kind.
We also remain grateful to everybody who is someway or the other connected to Rafi Foundation, whether physically present or not, for being so concerned about the happenings.
